Clinisept+

Clinisept+

Clinisept+ gently cleanses the skin to provide high levels of antimicrobial protection, containing no harsh chemicals it provides an ideal environment for rapid skin recovery.  Although it has a water-like look, the antimicrobial cleaning solution it contains produces incredibly high levels of hygiene without using alcohol, allowing application without stinging or irritation.

Some Conditions That We Use Clinisept+ Product for:

(1) An ingrown toenail
In this condition the side of the nail (the lateral nail fold) can swell with hypergranulation tissue.  Applying a sterile swab that has been soaked with Clinisept + prior is a fantastic technique to lessen microbial activity in the area.

(2) Diabetes and other chronic conditions

We are seeing more (2) bacterially infected wounds in our clinic as a result of the rise in diabetes and chronic illnesses.  We like to use sterile swabs that have been pre-soaked in Clinisept + to reduce microbial activity in the region.  Then apply to the area before removing aberrant tissue.

(3) A fungal toenail

With our spray pump activated clinisept + we use this generously especially whilst using drill sprays to make our environment as microbes free as possible.   We would not carry out our treatments without clinisept + in these situations.

(4) Fungal skin infections

We also use this product for fungal skin infections.  We suggest clients spray their feet post shower with clinisept + until they observe an improvement in their skin appearance.

(5) Verrucae

Verrucae are human papilloma viruses; they are very harmful and contagious.  Hence, we always clean the area with clinisept + first to ensure that verrucal cells are contained preventing any risk of further spread.  We also like to generously apply clinisept+ to the area of concern.  Then we begin debridement prior to whichever treatment that has been chosen as most appropriate for the patient in question.

At the Chelsea clinic, clinisept + is very important on site as it is used for every single patient who presents with some specific conditions.
